What can I do to make my party go smoothly?

Waivers:
Please make sure that you have an updated waiver signed with all of your family members on it!
Make sure that all of your party guests have signed the waiver.
This can be done by sending them the link on your party confirmation emails.
Note - anyone who has filled out a waiver more than a year ago will have to update it prior to the party.

Rules:
Make sure you are aware of all rules regarding room decorations and outside food, which can be found in your confirmation email.
Please be mindful and plan around the allotted room time. Additionally, we can only guarantee entry into the room 5-10 minutes beforehand unless instructed otherwise.
Outside food must be contained to inside the room. Foods with strong smells (e.g., popcorn) are not recommended.
All children within the party are required to have grip socks. Please see the information below to learn more about how our sock tab works.
What's a sock tab?

A sock tab is an option that all of our party hosts have to choose to pay for their guest's socks if they do not have them on the day of the party.

All socks added to the tab will be paid at the end of the party. This cost is additional to the party package.

We recommend that if you choose to opt-out of it, you let your guests know that the kids must have grippy/anti-slip socks to participate.
Can I bring outside food and decorations?

Food:
Absolutely! We sanitize each party room between events, so you can bring your outside food. We do ask that the food stay in the party room and kindly follow these guidelines:
- No food with a strong odour.
- No rice or pasta.
- No sticky foods like candy.
- No popcorn or cotton candy.

Decorations:
To prevent damage to the walls/paint, we kindly ask that you refrain from taping anything to them. You're welcome to use cabinets or, if your room has a window, for hanging items. Balloons and table decorations are welcome!
Please note we don't allow the following:
- Confetti or confetti poppers (including inside balloons).
- Piñatas.
- Tape on the walls.
When can I arrive to set up for my birthday party, and what time should I leave the room?
- We offer a 5-10 minute window before your event start time for hosts to arrive and set up decorations or bring in snacks and drinks.
- To ensure a smooth transition for the next event, we kindly ask that you begin packing up about 5-10 minutes before your scheduled end time.
How long is it for? What are the time slots?
- We offer four time slots, each lasting 2.5 hours: 10:00-12:30, 12:30-3:00, 3:00-5:30, and 5:30-8:00.
- Our parties include playtime and room time for the first two hours, followed by 30 minutes of playtime only.
- Availability varies depending on the date and location you wish to book, so please contact us for more details!
How soon before the party can I make changes?
- We ask for at least a week’s notice if you need to make changes to your birthday party.
- If a last-minute change arises, please call us, and we’ll do our best to accommodate, though we cannot guarantee it.
Can I have a Birthday party without officially booking it with you?
- No, we kindly ask that you refrain from hosting birthday parties in our cafeteria, including outside food, decorations, or gifts.
- While you're always welcome to enjoy a playdate, we recommend celebrating your special day either before or after your visit with us.
When is the party balance due? / How does the deposit work?
- A non-refundable $100 deposit is required when booking to secure your party reservation.
- The remaining balance is due at the end of the event.
- We recommend settling the balance at the end in case there are any additional guests, extra socks, or other requests during the party.
When does the Pizza/Cake arrive?
- Our pizza is set to arrive 30 minutes after your party starts (1 hour for the 10 am slot).
- We suggest having the cake 15-20 minutes after the pizza to give the kids plenty of time to play.
- On the day of the party, your personal party host will check in at the start and review the timing with you.
- The cake timing is flexible, so you can have it with the pizza or wait a bit longer if you'd like more time to enjoy the pizza.
Do I have to leave after 2.5 hours or can I stay?
- Yes, the party playtime ends 2.5 hours after the start of the party, unless you have chosen to purchase another 30 minutes of playtime.
- This time is to ensure we have enough capacity for walk-ins and future parties.
- Please email us if you are interested in adding additional time to your party!
What additional pizza toppings do you offer? Do you have a gluten-free pizza option?
- Our pizzas are from Dominos, so you can pick from these toppings:
- Meat: Pepperoni, Brooklyn Pepperoni, Sausage, Beef Crumble, Ham, Bacon, Chicken.
- Vegetables: Hot Banana, Pepper, Black Olives, Green Olives, Green Pepper, Roasted Red Pepper, Mushroom, Pineapple, White Onion, Tomatoes, Jalapeno Peppers, Baby Spinach.
- Cheese: Feta, Parmesan, Provolone, Cheddar.
- Gluten-Free: Yes, we offer a small gluten-free pizza for an additional charge. Please contact our facility directly to add this option.
How can I add a photo to my cake, and what type of image can I use?
- We offer the option to print any image on your cake for an additional fee of $15.
- You can either use a personal photo or find an image online that you'd like to feature.
- Simply email us the photo you'd like to have printed (please avoid sending a picture of a photo on a cake - unless that is what you would like printed on your cake).
What if I have extra kids?
- We don't require an exact list or number of kids attending in advance.
- On the day of the party, we'll check in all attendees to ensure you're only charged for those who show up.
- If any kids are sick or don’t attend, we’ll adjust accordingly.
- We can also provide a list of attendees if requested.
- Please note, due to the volume of parties, we are unable to maintain a list of all the kids you're expecting.
- If any guests are paying for themselves or an extra child, please ensure they're aware beforehand.
What flavour is the cake? Is it nut-free?
- We offer a Standard DQ Cake, which features a layer of chocolate soft serve on the bottom, a cookie fudge center, and vanilla soft serve on top.
- The icing colour on top of the cake is chosen when you book the party to match your theme or child’s favorite colour, along with the writing on the cake.
- DQ is not a nut-free facility. While our cakes don’t contain nuts directly, there is a possibility of cross-contamination.
- We recommend exercising caution if the child has a known nut allergy.
Can I substitute kids for adults or adults for kids?
- No, we cannot substitute kids for adults or adults for kids.
- Parties are set up based on the number of kids attending, and we’re unable to adjust the ratio between kids and adults for the booking.
What is included with the birthday party?
